About the game
What is Rogue Dungeon: 2nd Edition?
Rogue Dungeon (2nd Edition) is a cooperative dungeon crawler, originally designed for solo play. It plays like an old-school roguelike, using hand management, card draw and dice rolling as primary game mechanics. Explore the map of each dungeon level, encountering traps and fighting monsters. Find treasures and various items such as weapons, armor, magical potions, scrolls and artifacts to aid you on your quest. Gain experience to improve your hero abilities and skills and trade to improve your inventory. Players will need to figure out how best to use their hero’s abilities, skills, items, experience and luck to survive the dungeon and defeat the final boss. Enjoy even more re-playability with new content and game modes such as the Tomb and large dungeon maps. What's new in the 2nd edition? Extra components and rules for multiplayer supporting up to 3 players. 5 new heroes for a total of 10 to choose from, plus a custom meeple for each hero. Gameboards instead of card stock game mats. Revised, cohesive art style for boards and card backs. Includes the Tomb expansion, with a full set of rooms, additional maps, bosses, monsters and cursed loot. Each board's reverse side may be used as one large dungeon map as an alternate mode of play. —description from the publisher
