BoardGameBrain exists because board-game designers, publishers, players, document maintainers, and open-source contributors make useful knowledge available.

BoardGameGeek

Game names, identifiers, metadata, rankings, ratings, and artwork displayed by BoardGameBrain may be provided by BoardGameGeek. BoardGameBrain is not affiliated with or endorsed by BoardGameGeek. BoardGameGeek and the BGG logo are the property of their respective owner.

Use of BGG-derived data is subject to the BGG XML API Terms of Use and applicable commercial-use terms. Game pages link back to the corresponding BGG record when an identifier is available.

Game designers, publishers, and rulebooks

Board-game names, logos, artwork, rules, and rulebooks belong to their respective designers, publishers, authors, artists, or other rights holders. Rulebook material is used to answer questions and identify sources; its inclusion does not imply sponsorship or endorsement. When a displayed source or edition is wrong, contact support with the correct official source.

Technology and service providers

BoardGameBrain uses infrastructure and services from Cloudflare, Supabase, OpenAI, RevenueCat, Apple, Google, and connected billing providers. Their names and marks belong to their owners. Their involvement does not imply endorsement of BoardGameBrain.

Open-source software

The website and app use open-source software, including React, Vite, Hono, Supabase client libraries, RevenueCat SDKs, Lucide icons, and other dependencies distributed under their respective licenses. The deployed website includes the Playfair Display and Source Serif 4 font notices and the Lucide and Feather icon notices. Additional license texts and package notices are available in their source distributions and app acknowledgements where required.
