Contact support
Include the page or game you were viewing, what you expected, and what happened. For a technical issue, include your browser and operating system or your iOS and app version. A screenshot is useful when it does not contain private information.
Account and sign-in help
- Use the password-recovery link on the sign-in screen if you cannot sign in.
- Use the same BoardGameBrain account on iOS and the web when you want purchases, bookmarks, and history to remain together.
- If an email-confirmation or recovery link has expired, request a new one rather than reusing the old link.
- Tell support the account email and approximate time of the issue. Do not send credentials.
Subscriptions and purchases
App Store purchases
Manage or cancel an Apple subscription in Apple subscription settings. Apple handles App Store billing and refund decisions; refund requests can be started at Report a Problem.
Web purchases
Open Account, choose Manage membership, and use Manage billing when that secure portal link is available. A web subscription is separate from an Apple subscription; starting both can create duplicate charges.
Missing access or usage
Sign in to the account used at checkout. On iOS, use Restore Purchases. On the website, reopen the membership page and use Check membership or Check fulfillment when shown. Billing updates can take a short time. If access or a usage pack still does not appear, send support the product, originating platform, approximate purchase time, and non-sensitive transaction reference if available.
Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. See subscriptions and usage for more.
Chat, citations, and game data
For a missing or incorrect answer, include the game title, edition if known, the question, and the citation or rule section you expected. You can report an individual response through the available feedback control. Always follow the official rulebook or publisher ruling when it differs from an automated answer.
For an incorrect game record or artwork issue, include the BoardGameBrain game URL and a link to the correct BoardGameGeek entry when possible.
Privacy requests and account deletion
Signed-in users can request deletion from Account settings. If you cannot access the account, email support@boardgamebrain.app and state whether you are requesting access, correction, export, or deletion. We may need to verify account ownership.

Security reports
If you believe you found a security issue, email support@boardgamebrain.app with a concise description and reproduction steps. Do not access other users' data, disrupt the service, or include live secrets in the report.
Support records
We retain support messages and diagnostic details as needed to resolve the request, prevent abuse, document purchase or privacy actions, and meet legal obligations, as described in the Privacy Policy.
