This retail version is a standalone version of the game and it is compatible with the other boxes and it is based on the Hush Saga of the bat. The characters included are: 4 heroes: -Batman (classic colors: blue) -Robin (Tim Drake) -Huntress -Catwoman (goggles) 1 dual mode hero: -Superman (Poison Ivy controlled) 1 villain: -Hush 1 villain duo: -Joker and Harley Villain duos are a new mechanic in United where you can fight 2 villains at the same time. You can have a taste of this new mechanic which is more exploited in the Crowdfunding exclusive "Suicide Squad" box where you can fight 2 in any combination of the 6 dual-mode characters. When Gotham City’s most notorious Villains start acting out of character, the Caped Crusader knows a more insidious master plan is at work, devised by the shady figure known as Hush. Batman and his allies must act together to protect the innocent, face dire threats, and confront the Villains to uncover this revenge plot. But things take a deadly turn when the Man of Steel himself falls under Poison Ivy’s mind control. The only hope of solving this mysterious case is for the Heroes to stand united! As was announced before the launch of the DC Super Heroes United campaign, there will be a retail-only Core Box released separately from the crowdfunding delivery.
