What is Liberty Roads?
Liberty Roads is a simulation of the WWII campaign in France, from the 6th of June, 1944 (D-Day) to March, 1945. The game map covers the theater of operations from Brest to the Ruhr, Rotterdam to Toulon. Rules are divided into basic and advanced rules. Basic rules cover movement, combat, supply... and allow play of the introductory scenario, 'Cobra'. Advanced rules deal mainly with airborne drops and landings. Game length: Cobra scenario: 1.5 to 2 hrs. D-Day scenario: 6 to 8 hrs. Campaign scenario: 15 to 20 hrs. Game scale: 1 hex = 25 km 1 counter = 1 division Complexity : Moderate
